Rhymes & Raps

I love writing and performing silly rhymes and raps for children. Some of them have found their way into books and have even been illustrated by well known illustrators like Jenny Cooper.

Some have been illustrated by children at the cartooning workshops I do at schools.

Others, like this one about my grand daughter Penny, has been illustrated by myself.

Most of my rhymes and raps, don’t get illustrated at all. They just sit around all day in old exercise books or on floppy disks in my basement hoping that one day I will re-visit them. Here is one I found recently. It was written in 1983 about Timothy James who used to dribble a lot. You will be pleased to know that he doesn’t dribble anymore.
